GIDA has also set up country wise divisions for exploring opportunities for in & out bound investments, support for setting up private industrial parks, technology parks, warehouse, logistics parks & industrial clusters and initiatives to brand & market “Made-in-Gujarat” products at the national & international levels. GIDA has been regularly organising various business activities, debates, discussions, interactive meetings, carrying out research & study reports & white papers on the various sectors, products, policy, schemes, incentives, advantages and grievances related to the manufacturing, SMEs and allied industrial sectors.

GIDA has been founded by Mr. Chandrakant Salunkhe, who has been on the forefront for the last 35 years and involved in the various business activities. As a serial and successful entrepreneur as well as Founder and President of the various Trade Promotional Organisations at the State, National and International levels, he has been putting efforts for policy change & its implementation, empowering manufacturing industries, SMEs, start-ups and other industrial sectors for the better business growth and global competitiveness

GIDA has initiated unique brands “Pride of Gujarat Awards”, “Gujarat Business Excellence Awards” & “Business Icons of Gujarat” to recognize entrepreneurs, enterprises, institutions, SMEs, start-ups, individuals and other allied businesses for their outstanding contributions and remarkable achievements in their respective fields. GIDA has also initiated “Ahmedabad Business Forum” to provide business networking platform to explore the various business opportunities in supply, procurement and other business activities.
